The Shipowners’ Club has produced the 2020 update of its Guide to offshore jurisdiction, the most up-to-date and relevant guidance to assist Members operating in specific offshore jurisdictions. Th Guide provides an overview of common issues arising from the laws and regulations which govern offshore shipping operations in these regions.
The 2020 edition answers key questions for 21 jurisdictions, covering international conventions and liability regimes, legal frameworks and court systems including industry standard contracts, knock for knock provisions, fines, time bars and more. This information has been compiled with the assistance of leading legal practitioners in each jurisdiction.
